The members of EPTDA (European Power Transmission Distributors Association) will be meeting in Berlin from 21 to 23 September to discuss the latest technical and sales opportunities available to the mechanical power transmission industry.
Saint-Romain, France – 21 September 2016 – TraceParts, one of the world’s leading providers of 3D digital content for engineering, will be meeting with the European leaders of the mechanical power transmission industry during the annual EPTDA convention to present the sales benefits linked to publishing the technical and 3D data of mechanical transmission components online.
As a partner to EPTDA since 2012, TraceParts has worked closely with several influential members of the association to develop a CAD platform devoted to engineers who use power transmission components in their design projects. Today, this platform has become an essential tool for thousands of design offices, who can identify, validate and download CAD models of parts, such as couplings, bearings, rail guides, bearing blocks, pulleys and hubs in the CAD format corresponding to the software used.
The transmission components of these 19 members, including INA/FAG, NSK, REXNORD, SKF and SNR, are also promoted on the TraceParts CAD platform which makes technical specifications and CAD files available to more than 15 million designers around the world. The full list of the 19 members that are TraceParts’ partners is available at www.tracepartsonline.net/ws/eptda.
In terms of the bearings product-family alone, over 1.1 million 3D files were downloaded from the TraceParts CAD platform last year, thereby enabling bearing manufacturers and distributors to provide their customers and prospects with both technical and sales support (see the press release from 18 February 2016).
You can consult the list of manufacturers present on the CAD platform devoted to power transmission components at www.tracepartsonline.net/ws/eptda.
TraceParts’ annual report on bearings is available free at: traceparts.com/publish-your-3d-product-catalogs/product-ranges/bearings/.
Industrial component suppliers who would like more information about publishing their product catalog in 3D may contact TraceParts by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our website www.traceparts.com
TraceParts is one of the world’s leading providers of 3D digital content for engineering. As part of the Trace Group founded in 1989, the company provides powerful web-based solutions, such as CAD part libraries, electronic catalogs and product configurators. TraceParts also provides digital marketing services to help part manufacturers, software publishers and computer hardware vendors promote their products and services and generate high-quality B2B sales leads.
The TracePartsOnline.net portal is available free-of-charge to millions of CAD users worldwide. It provides access to hundreds of supplier catalogs and more than 100 million CAD models and product data-sheets that are suited to design, purchasing, manufacturing and maintenance processes.
Founded in 1998, EPTDA today is the largest organisation in EMEA of distributors and manufacturers of mechanical power transmission and motion control products.
The EPTDA distributor and manufacturer companies cover more than 15 product categories within the EPTDA, and are active in a range of end markets, including but not limited to Food & beverage equipment; Mining & dredging; Automotive; Industrial machinery; Agriculture equipment; Power generation; Material handling equipment; and Pulp & paper.
