Whats your name? What's your position within TraceParts?
My name is Tony Deng(邓利民). I am 27 years old and I work as a technical manager in China. I'm also responsible for TraceParts marketing in China.
How
long have you been working for TraceParts for?
I joined TraceParts in December 2010, and Im the first employee of TraceParts in China.
What is your job about?
My job consists of two major activities since TraceParts entry into the Chinese market: increasing the number of 3D catalogs available in Chinese on www.tracepartsonline.net and boosting our visibility in the Chinese market, by
- Creating Chinese GB standard parts
- Promoting TraceParts to Chinese designers
- Persuading part manufacturers to use TraceParts service.
China is a big manufacturing country, millions of manufacturers need different marketing tools to promote their products either domestically or abroad and TraceParts provide ideal platform for them, so far TraceParts users from China increase very fast.
What do you want to achieve for TraceParts in the next years?
I like my current job very much, what I need to achieve first is: becoming number 1 catalog portal in China. And I will do my best to fulfill that goal.
What do you do after work, during your free time?
Making scale flying aircraft model especially fighters is always my favorite hobby and I never get bored, I also like Computer Graphics, creating fractal with Ultra fractal or OpenGL or Papervision3D, there is so much fun to play with Computer Graphics.
