TraceParts 2025 – 6 million milestone challenge – Contest Rules

ARTICLE 1 โ€“ Definition and conditions of the contest

TraceParts S.A.S, the Organizer of the contest, registered with the Le Havre Trade and Companies Register under number B 433 949 625, with headquarters located at Parc Eco Normandie, 76430 Saint Romain, France, is organizing a free contest with no purchase required. This operation is neither organized nor sponsored by Facebook or LinkedIn. The contest is accessible via the website www.traceparts.com, the Facebook page www.facebook.com/TraceParts, the LinkedIn page www.linkedin.com/company/traceparts and the LinkedIn page TraceParts Design Library, from June 2, 2025, to July 31, 2025.

This document constitutes the official rules of the contest. It may be modified by TraceParts for legitimate reasons (notably in cases of fraud, malfunction, or force majeure), provided that participants are informed through the same channels used to promote the contest.

ARTICLE 2 โ€“ Participation terms

This contest is open to any adult residing in a country where participation in this type of contest is permitted under local law. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure the legality of their participation in their country of residence. The contest is governed by French law applicable to games and contests. Participation in the contest constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. This contest is exclusively intended for individuals who are not employees of TraceParts or any of its subsidiaries.

Only one entry per person is allowed for the entire duration of the contest.

ARTICLE 3 โ€“ Contest dates

  • Contest start date: June 2, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (Paris time โ€“ UTC +02:00)
  • Contest end date: July 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (Paris time โ€“ UTC +02:00)

The winner will be selected after TraceParts officially reaches the milestone of 6 million registered users on its platform.

The draw and winner announcement will take place within 15 days following the official announcement of this milestone, which will be shared through TracePartsโ€™ official communication channels (email and social media).

As a result, the winner may be announced at any time between August and October 2025, depending on when the milestone is reached.

ARTICLE 4 โ€“ Terms of participation

Application submission conditions

This contest takes place on www.traceparts.com and the social networks Facebook and LinkedIn on the specified dates.

To register for the draw and have a chance to win the prize, each participant must complete the actions listed below:

  • Hold an active account (which can be created free of charge) on the www.traceparts.com platform and use the email address associated with that account to enter the contest.
  • Click the โ€˜Confirm my participationโ€™ button in the pop-up window and fill out the displayed form with the following information: Last name, first name, email address (linked to an active account as stated above), country.

Registration for the draw is only valid upon completion of these steps.

Warranties and liability regarding the validity of applications

Participation in the contest will only be valid if the information required by TraceParts is complete and accurate. Any entries submitted using incorrect information, counterfeit or falsified forms will automatically be disqualified from winning any prize.

Each participant therefore agrees to provide truthful and accurate personal information. TraceParts disclaims all liability in the event that a participant uses false first and/or last names linked to a valid email address, or impersonates a third party.

ARTICLE 5 โ€“ Prizes

The prize to be won is a drone: DJI Flip (DJI RC-N3), with an estimated value of 439 euros/499 USD. The Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with one of equivalent value or similar characteristics, without any possible claims in this regard. The prize will be awarded following contact between the Organizer and the winner.

ARTICLE 6 โ€“ Winner selection

The winner will be selected by means of a random draw conducted from the database of individuals registered for the draw by TraceParts.

The winner will be contacted individually and will be asked whether they consent to the publication of their first and last name on TracePartsโ€™ communication channels (www.traceparts.com, the Facebook page www.facebook.com/TraceParts, the LinkedIn page TraceParts Design Library, and the LinkedIn page www.linkedin.com/company/traceparts). If no consent is given, only the initials of the first and last name along with the country of residence will be displayed.ย 

ARTICLE 7 โ€“ Prize awarding procedures

Only one prize will be awarded per individual.

The winner will be invited by return email to provide additional personal details (first name, last name, address, city, postal code, phone number, email address) in order to arrange delivery of the prize.

If the information provided by the participant is incomplete and/or does not allow them to be informed of their win, they will lose their status as Winner and will not be entitled to make any claim.

The Organizer cannot be held responsible for any technical issues related to the electronic notification of the win. If the Winner does not provide this information within 10 days, they will forfeit their status as Winner. In that case, a second draw will be conducted under the same conditions.

ARTICLE 8 โ€“ Personal and nominative data

The personal data (surname, first name, e-mail address, country) collected from Participants are mandatory and necessary for the processing of game entries. It is intended for use by the Organizing Company to manage the game.

The email address will only be used to send newsletters or commercial/marketing offers if the Participant has ticked the optional box โ€œI agree to receive other communications from TraceParts,โ€ which is unchecked by default. This consent is freely given and can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing dpo@traceparts.com.

Regarding Participants’ rights concerning their personal data, they are invited to consult TraceParts general conditions of use page, the content of which forms an integral part of these rules.

By accessing and registering for the contest, all individuals are deemed to have read, understood, and unreservedly accepted the rules in their entirety, including the article on personal data.

ARTICLE 9 โ€“ Responsibilities and rights

The Organizer:

  • Reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, limit the prizes, or cancel the contest in the event of force majeure as defined by case law. Consequently, it cannot be held liable in such circumstances.
  • Cannot be held responsible for any fraudulent use of login credentials or prize attribution of a Participant.
  • Declines all responsibility in the event of malfunction of the internet network, telephone lines, or receiving equipment that may disrupt the proper conduct of the contest. Moreover, it shall not be held liable for any problems related to the delivery or loss of email or postal mail.
  • Declines all responsibility in case of technical failure, anomaly, or hardware/software malfunction of any kind (virus, bugโ€ฆ) affecting the Participantโ€™s system, computer equipment, or stored data, as well as the resulting consequences on their personal, professional, or commercial activities.

Participants:  

  • Are responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the information provided to the Organizer.

ARTICLE 10 โ€“ Filing of the rules

All documents are made available and accessible in both English and French to all users and Participants for the entire duration of the contest. Participants are advised to save a copy and/or print all texts for future reference if needed.

ARTICLE 11 โ€“ Participation costs

As the contest is freely accessible via the Internet, with no purchase required and no additional costs (excluding any potential internet connection fees), no reimbursement will be made.

ARTICLE 12 โ€“ Competent jurisdictions

These rules are governed by French law.

In the event of any dispute or claim concerning the contest, for any reason whatsoever, requests must be sent in writing to TraceParts S.A.S by mail to the address mentioned in the preamble, during the contest period and no later than sixty (60) days after the announcement of the Winner.

In case of dispute or claim regarding the awarded prize, requests must be sent in writing to TraceParts S.A.S or by email toโ€ฏinfo@traceparts.comโ€ฏwithin seven (7) days after receipt of the prize confirmation.

The parties will endeavor to resolve any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these rules amicably. If disagreement persists, it shall be submitted to the competent courts.

The Participant acknowledges having read these rules, accepts them unreservedly, and agrees to comply with them.
