ReeR Safety’s industrial safety products’ CAD data now available on TraceParts

ReeR Safety, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of optoelectronic sensors for industrial safety, has partnered with TraceParts to make its 3D product data accessible online.

If safety in the workplace is essential, it becomes crucial in highly automated environments and wherever there is an interaction between a dangerous machine and an operator. ReeR Safety is at the forefront of optoelectronic curtains for automation, measurement and control. Its product portfolio includes light curtains, programmable controllers, photocells, laser scanners and interfaces, able to meet each application demand across industries.

ReeR Safety’s history of safety

ReeR Safety was established in 1959 in Turin (Italy) to distribute components for industry, lighting and home automation. By the mid-70s, the first safety sensors were developed, and the first light curtains were produced. ReeR soon became a point of reference in this field, both in Italy and across the globe. Its strong commitment to innovation and technology is already recognized by customers from more than 50 countries.

Its product portfolio includes a wide range of safety devices, and the offer is often enhanced. They recently launched the new Safety Controller Master Unit, Mosaic M1S COM with integrated I/Os and 4 built-in Ethernet field-bus protocols, also allowing remote connectivity.

ReeR Safety is committed to regularly improving its quality management processes by minimizing defective returns and ensuring high product reliability. They hold the TÜV certified Quality System according to the ISO 9001 standard and are also ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified.

Design-in safety products with ease

As ReeR often interacts with many electrical design engineers, they have always received many requests to deliver CAD models in different formats.

To increase the visibility & accessibility of their products and improve the level of service offered to customers, ReeR decided to publish their 3D model catalog with TraceParts, which was highly recommended by their customers.

We needed to make sure our customers’ designers could get each one of our products in any possible format, directly from our website. Marco Paglietta, Marketing and Market Development Director, ReeR Safety

Now with a product catalog available in an extensive range of download formats on one of the best-known CAD-content platforms in the world, ReeR Safety’s 3D models are easily accessible and available for import into designers’ projects. Thus, TraceParts has revolutionized and enhanced the component selection process of ReeR Safety’s products.
