ANT Antriebstechnik develops online configurator with TraceParts

When it comes to the highly efficient conversion of rotary movements into linear movements, the screw jacks and high-speed screw jacks developed by ANT Antriebstechnik are among the top solutions available in the automation components market. Over the past two years, the company has expanded its offering in this product segment with numerous models.

In addition, to ensure that designers and developers have quick and easy access to this new selection, ANT has had a product configurator developed by TraceParts.

“The online provision of all available standard versions and, in particular, the option of transferring the relevant CAD data from the new configurator directly into established CAD systems such as SolidWorks, ProE, Catia, Inventor, and many others, will significantly improve the availability of our screw jacks and high-speed screw jacks for users and customers,” remarks ANT Managing Director Mathias Keul reassuringly.

Shortcut to a special solution

However, the new web configurator does more than just simplify the selection and design work involved with the many standard versions of ANT’s screw jacks and high-speed screw jacks.

In fact, the online tool is designed in such a way that, once a configuration is completed, it offers the option of both submitting a specific request for a quotation and preparing the continuing process involving the individual optimization of the selection made by ANT engineers.

“Based on the customers’ online configurations, we can – using our flexible production structures – implement special application-specific requests very quickly and easily,” says Mathias Keul.

About ANT Antriebstechnik

ANT Antriebstechnik operates according to a two-track strategy. The company supplies plant manufacturers that want to run their automation projects in-house with linear modules, screw jacks, and ball screws based on components selected from the catalog or using special customer-specific products. ANT provides all other customers with its one-stop-shop range of services, from planning and design to assembly and acceptance of total system solutions. As part of all this, in addition to the Bosch Rexroth portfolio, the company also uses its own development and production capacities, as well as the flexible opportunities for collaboration offered by its partner concept. This allows ANT not only to produce customer-specific modified linear guides and gearboxes, but also entire process modules for gantry systems and assembly devices right up to complete processing, assembly, handling, and testing systems.
