Bell-Everman Streamlines Linear Actuator Design With TraceParts-Powered CAD Configurator  

Goleta, CA, December 6, 2022 — Bell-Everman Inc. has selected TraceParts to make computer-aided design (CAD) models of its LowBoy Linear Actuator product line easily available for customers. Through the Bell-Everman website, customers can now specify their own LowBoy product, generate and interact with a CAD model of their unique configuration, and then request a quote. 

Powered by TraceParts, this online CAD configurator offers many technical options including size, drive, motor and travel length. Once users input their requirements, the tool generates a three-dimensional model of their LowBoy actuator that they can enlarge, rotate and download in various CAD formats. 

“The ability to quickly configure, interact with and then download CAD models of our products saves valuable design and modeling time, enabling our customers to quickly integrate LowBoy into their machine designs,” says Tom Maccianti, President of Bell-Everman. “We’re proud to have partnered with TraceParts to streamline the design experience for our customers.”

Bell-Everman LowBoy positioning systems feature three drive mechanisms, available in the same compact, aluminum chassis. Users can choose from precision ball screws, as well as air-core or iron-core linear motors. In addition to their precision, LowBoy actuators can exert continuous linear forces as high as 1,540 Newtons, depending on the drive mechanism. They also feature low-profile aluminum chassis designs, which integrate a cover to protect the drive mechanism from contamination. 

Thanks to their modularity and broad range of positioning resolutions, LowBoy Linear Actuators serve in a wide variety of applications, including semiconductor, medical, packaging, electronics assembly and industrial machines.
