TraceParts acquires CAO.fr, BIMActu.com and CAO-formation.com to strengthen its range of Digital Marketing Services

St Romain, France – January 13, 2020 – TraceParts, a world-leading supplier of digital content for engineering, has announced that it has taken over all the activities of MA-CAO.fr, the leading provider of French-speaking news for CAD and PLM, which is better known through its CAO.fr, BIM-actu.com, and CAO-formation.com websites with a total of 100,000 visits in 2019.

This acquisition will enable TraceParts to continue reinforcing its range of high value-added content for millions of designers and engineers in such fields as mechanical, electric and electronic CAD, BIM, design, CAM, CAE, PLM, IT hardware, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping.

I’m delighted to pass on the mantle to a long-standing player in the CAD sector who has been offering hundreds of parts catalogs and millions of 3D products for over 20 years. I know that TraceParts will continue developing newsletters, product and event listings, Webina’tech and generally all the content disseminated over the CAO.fr, BIM-actu.com and CAO-formation.com websites that I personally created. This acquisition marks both a change and continuity for all our visitors and advertisers,

explains Denis Lourme, Founder of MA-CAO.fr.

Content on the CAO.fr website is especially popular with the entire French-speaking community working in industrial design. As such, it dovetails perfectly with TraceParts,

adds Gabriel Guigue, TraceParts CEO.

We’re going to create strong sales and marketing synergies with the CAO.fr, BIM-actu.com and CAO-formation.com websites, which we’re going to maintain and develop. We’re aiming to quickly ramp up the number of subscribers while keeping the same editorial line that made CAO.fr such a success.
