Traceparts

Prevost uses TraceParts to integrate 3D visuals and download capabilities for its compressed air networks and fluid distribution components

Prevost, a specialist in compressed air for 45 years, offers numerous products for the connection, distribution, and treatment of air. In 2019, the company launched the TraceParts’ program to offer 3D visuals and download capabilities directly from their website. We were curious about the benefits of this program, so we spoke with Anthony BETEMPS, Digital Project Manager at Prevost, to learn more.

1. Prevost is a specialist in compressed air. Tell us more about your business.

Since 1978, we have been offering a range of products for the installation of compressed air networks and the distribution of fluids. Our know-how and the continuous innovations of our R&D teams have made us one of the world leaders in pneumatic energy equipment. A few of our core product lines include: compressed air networks, quick safety couplings, filtration solutions, pneumatic tools and more.

Prevost is active in the industrial, automotive and construction markets.
We support our customers in their development projects and have become the preferred partner for industries using pneumatic and hydraulic energy.

2. What are your target industries?

3. You have chosen to implement 3D visualisations and CAD downloads on your website using TraceParts technology. What motivated you to make this decision?

3D is the most reliable technology for presenting industrial parts to customers. TraceParts allows our products to be accurately reproduced and realistic simulations to be generated. These images illustrate the operation of a part and its interaction with other components which make up the machine or industrial equipment. The TraceParts 3D viewer and multi-CAD technology was the most practical, fully adapted, and successful solution on the market.

4. What do you like about the TraceParts solution?

Thanks to the TraceParts 3D product visualisation platform, we have been able to promote our products more effectively. Users can easily and quickly access our products, observe them up close and view them from multiple angles. They can also download files in over 60 2D and 3D CAD formats.

5. Prevost opted for 3D visualisation directly on its website. How was it set up?

Integrating the files on the TraceParts platform was a simple task because the TraceParts support team was efficient and responsive. Applying the technology on our site was simple due to iframes and redirection links. We offer some of the new features developed by TraceParts such as the full screen 3D visualisations.

6. Finally, what would you say to a professional who is considering using TraceParts to publish their 3D catalogue online?

We would advise them yes, they should use TraceParts. The TraceParts program is a complete and integrated solution for professionals which allows businesses to promote their products, generate qualified traffic to their website and create qualified leads. TraceParts offers additional solutions for including entire libraries of technical and marketing product data, adding a request for quote button on each product sheet, and directly accessing leads obtained through their catalogue. Additionally, TraceParts is a secure and reliable platform.
