Step 1 – Define your product

 

Complete the definition data for your product:

  • Tick the language or languages supported by your product.
  • Choose a default language which will replace all languages not supported by your product.
    • Available languages in this list rely of the selected languages  in the first step.
  • Define the language that will use to enter product data in the publishing wizard.
    • Available languages in this list rely of the selected languages  in the first step.
  • Enter an product ID. This is essential for automating batch updates of your products.
    • As this field cannot be empty, a default product ID is computed,
  • Choose a name for your product. It should be concise and explicit, as people might look your product up via the search engine. Once published, the product appears in the TraceParts Smart-Publishing Dashboard and on traceparts.com.
  • Enter a description, to tell users a bit more about your product.
  • Enter a long description to provide more details and be able to add text formatting features,
  • Select the supplier of your product from the list proposed.
    • The content of the list may vary depending of the user
  • Only the fields followed by an asterisk are required.
